This tenugui features an atmospheric autumn motif with vibrant maple leaves, a pagoda, and Mount Fuji in the background. It is manufactured by the long-established family business HAMAMONYO in Yokohama—an expert in the Yokohama wet- dyeing technique with over 75 years of experience. The cotton fabric used is chlorine-free bleached, soft, and skin-friendly, and was specially developed for tenugui production.

In the image , red and yellow maple leaves (紅葉, kōyō) glow in the foreground. The five-story pagoda rises proudly against the gentle profile of Mount Fuji, while cranes glide through the purple sky. A composition of depth, tranquility, and Japanese aesthetics.

• The raw edges may fray slightly during washing—this is typical of tenugui and not a defect. Excess threads can easily be trimmed with scissors.
