This delicately designed Furoshiki carries the name フロシキクロス 木の実 オフ (Furoshiki Cross Ki no Mi Off) – "Furoshiki cloth, tree fruits in off-white". The design exudes the quiet poetry of a walk through the autumn forest: fine, graphically drawn leaf tendrils wind across the cream-white ground, and among them hang small Ki no Mi (木の実) – tree fruits and berries in muted aubergine red. The illustration looks almost like a botanical ink drawing and lends the cloth a nature-close, unpretentious elegance. In Japan, tree fruits symbolise abundance, harvest and the natural cycle of the year – an ideal motif for lovers of understated, nature-inspired designs.

  • Washing: Machine wash up to 40 °C is easily possible. For strong colors (especially red/dark blue), we recommend washing separately for the first wash to avoid color bleeding.
  • Drying: Air dry is best. The shantung fabric dries quickly.
  • Ironing: The characteristic structure of the shantung fabric is best preserved if the cloth is shaken out after washing and air-dried. If necessary, smooth with an iron on a low to medium setting.
  • Note: Do not use bleach to protect color brilliance.
