This festive Furoshiki carries the name 大布 お祝い文様 (Ōfu Oiwai Moyō) – "large cloth, congratulations pattern". The design is a veritable treasure chest of Japanese lucky symbols: on deep navy blue, countless golden-yellow circles line up, each depicting a classic Engimono (縁起物, "lucky charm") – Daruma for perseverance, Mount Fuji for constancy, lucky bags (Fukubukuro), turtles, plum blossoms and many more. Each circle tells its own little story of good fortune. The motif is perfect for special occasions such as weddings, births, New Year or as a celebratory gift – a true invitation to convey your best wishes.

  • Washing: Machine washing up to 40 °C is perfectly fine. For strong colors (especially red/dark blue), we recommend washing separately the first time to prevent color bleeding.
  • Drying: Air dry is best. The shantung fabric dries quickly.
  • Ironing: The characteristic texture of the shantung fabric is best preserved if the cloth is shaken out after washing and air-dried. If necessary, iron on a low to medium heat setting.
  • Note: Do not use bleach to protect color brilliance.
