This expressive Furoshiki bears the name 大布 枝垂れ夜桜 (Oobu Shidare Yozakura) – "Large cloth: weeping cherry blossoms at night". The design captures the mystical atmosphere of a spring evening: delicate cascades of pink and white blossoms of the weeping cherry (Shidarezakura) hang from fine branches, glowing strikingly against the deep black background. Individual petals drift gently through the darkness like snowflakes, lending the motif a poetic yet elegant depth.

  • Washing: Machine wash up to 40 °C is easily possible. For strong colors (especially red/dark blue), we recommend washing separately for the first wash to avoid color bleeding.
  • Drying: Air dry is best. The shantung fabric dries quickly.
  • Ironing: The characteristic structure of the shantung fabric is best preserved if the cloth is shaken out after washing and air-dried. If necessary, smooth with an iron on a low to medium setting.
  • Note: Do not use bleach to protect color brilliance.
