This graceful Furoshiki bears the name 大布 七宝に桜しずか (Ōfu Shippō ni Sakura Shizuka) – "Large cloth, Seven Treasures with quiet cherry blossoms". The design unites two classic motifs into a delicate composition: in the background spreads the time-honoured Shippō (七宝) pattern – endlessly overlapping circles that stand for harmony, lasting relationships and prosperity. On this fine lattice in powder pink grow stylised Sakura (桜) branches in deep navy blue, warm brown and pure white, their blossoms scattered like lightly placed accents. The epithet Shizuka (しずか, "quiet") underlines the calm, contemplative character of the motif – not exuberant springtime joy, but quiet beauty. A striking navy-blue border frames the composition and gives the cloth a finished, elegant look.

  • Washing: Machine washing up to 40 °C is perfectly fine. For strong colors (especially red/dark blue), we recommend washing separately the first time to prevent color bleeding.
  • Drying: Air dry is best. The shantung fabric dries quickly.
  • Ironing: The characteristic texture of the shantung fabric is best preserved if the cloth is shaken out after washing and air-dried. If necessary, iron on a low to medium heat setting.
  • Note: Do not use bleach to protect color brilliance.
