This elegant Tenugui carries the name 菱松小梅 (Hishimatsu Koume) – "diamond pine and little plum blossom". It shows a harmonious interplay of geometric rigour and floral delicacy, celebrating the transition from winter to spring.

At its heart sit the diamond-shaped Hishi (菱), formed here from stylised pine needles of the Matsu (松) – a symbol of longevity and constancy. Between them, small, vivid red and pink Koume (小梅), the little plum blossoms, add fresh accents. The combination of bold green and wintry red on a pale ground gives the design a festive yet calming mood, reminiscent of the first sunny days of the year.
