Tenugui “Mame Shibori Nama Beeru” – HAMAMONYO, 100% cotton, made in Japan
Tenugui “Mame Shibori Nama Beeru” – Japanese cotton cloth
Beer culture to dry off
This original tenugui comes from the traditional manufacturer HAMAMONYO in Yokohama. The family-run business boasts more than 75 years of experience in processing high-quality cotton fabrics. It is printed using the classic wet-dyeing technique (Yokohama wet-dye) on chlorine-free bleached fabric specially developed for tenugui production.
The motif depicts a stylized glass of freshly tapped beer. The lower section is bright yellow with white bubble dots in the Mame Shibori style, topped with a light foam crown, finished with a traditional fish scale pattern in dark blue. The graphic structure is reminiscent of a minimalist poster and captures Japanese humor.
Ideal for summer parties, as a kitchen towel, a gift for beer lovers, or as a quirky accent for your home bar. This tenugui is sure to spark conversation while remaining functional.
