This charming tenugui is named豆柴の温泉めぐり (Mameshiba no Onsen Meguri) – “Mameshiba’s Onsen Tour”. It depicts the popular Japanese dog breed Mameshiba (豆柴) visiting a traditional hot spring bath, the onsen (温泉) .

The scene captures the typical atmosphere of a Japanese bathhouse, complete with wooden tubs, steaming springs, and relaxing outdoor pools. The design, rendered in soft blue and earth tones, tells a story of rest and well-being. Thanks to its special weave, this towel can be leafed through like a small book before fully unfolding to reveal its full splendor as a decorative wall hanging or hand towel.

The design comes from HAMAMONYO , a long-established textile manufacturer from Yokohama. Thanks to the Yokohama wet printing technique, the colors appear particularly vibrant and clear, even in subtle color gradients.
