This tenugui is named納涼花火 (Noryo Hanabi) and depicts a Japanese summer evening with bright fireworks (花火, hanabi) over a dark sky and swimming goldfish (金魚, kingyo) in the lower part of the picture.

Note on authenticity: As is typical with traditional tenugui, the short sides are unhemmed . This allows the cloth to dry faster. Slight fraying at first is normal; any excess threads can be carefully trimmed. The edge will stabilize itself after the first few washes.
