Tenugui “Panda Shorin Beige”

This tenugui, poetically named "Panda Shorin" (literally: Book Forest ), transforms your home bookshelf into an adventure playground. The design depicts a humorous scene of pandas conquering the library: they climb shelves like bamboo, become engrossed in their reading, or take a nodding nap among the book spines.

It is manufactured by the long-established family company HAMAMONYO in Yokohama. The cotton fabric used is chlorine-free bleached, soft, skin-friendly, and was specially developed for the production of the Tenugui.

The warm, beige background gives the cloth a cozy vintage feel that goes beautifully with wooden furniture. The fine details of the book spines and the fresh green of the bamboo create a harmonious connection between culture and nature.
