Tenugui “Panda Sushi Bar”

This humorous tenugui is calledパンダ寿司バー (Panda Sushi Bar) and shows a cheerful scene around a sushi bar (寿司) where several pandas (パンダ) are visibly enjoying nigiri, sashimi and other delicacies.

The conveyor belt, the covered counter, and the many small gestures of the animals lend the motif humor and movement. In this way, the design combines Japanese dining culture with a charming wink, while simultaneously appearing detailed and decorative.

Note on authenticity: As is typical with traditional tenugui, the short sides are unhemmed . This allows the cloth to dry faster. Slight fraying at first is normal; any excess threads can be carefully trimmed. The edge will stabilize itself after the first few washes.
