This tenugui depicts a cheerful sushi bar scene with drinking pandas. Printed by the Yokohama-based family business HAMAMONYO —a manufacturer with over 75 years of experience in the traditional wet-dyeing technique (Yokohama Nassen). The motif is hand-printed on a chlorine-free bleached cotton fabric specially developed for tenugui production. It is soft, skin-friendly, and pleasantly lightweight.

The scene charmingly conveys Japanese culinary culture: nigiri, sashimi, and other delicacies circulate on the conveyor belt, while the pandas nibble on them with relish and joy. The delicate design combines humor with attention to detail.
