Delicate cherry blossoms with a cheeky bird greeting
This playful tenugui comes from the traditional Yokohama-based company HAMAMONYO . The manufacturer boasts over 75 years of experience producing high-quality cotton towels using the traditional wet-printing technique (Yokohama Nassen). The design is carefully hand-printed onto a special, chlorine-free bleached cotton fabric. Specifically developed for tenugui production, it is soft, breathable, and comfortable against the skin.
The design features a rhythmic arrangement of white sakura on a soft pink background. Interspersed among them are small hearts and playful bunchos. The combination of classic symbolism and humorous design makes this tenugui a charming companion for everyday life and a thoughtful gift idea – playful, but by no means kitschy.
Whether used as a decorative element, small towel, furoshiki, or headband, this tenugui effortlessly brings Japanese aesthetics to any environment.
