This Tenugui is called 五月雨に紫陽花 (Samidare ni Ajisai) and shows blooming hydrangeas (紫陽花, ajisai), accompanied by the raindrops of the early-summer rains (五月雨, samidare) and traditional Wagasa umbrellas.

The mix of abundant blossom, rain and umbrella motifs captures the special atmosphere of the Japanese rainy season beautifully. The design feels fresh, calm and richly colourful all at once.
