This refined Tenugui bears the name 七宝桜 (Shippo Sakura) – “Cloisonné cherry blossom”. It shows an artful fusion of the classic Shippō (七宝) pattern with the delicate beauty of the Japanese cherry blossom in a deep, violet palette.

The design is distinguished by the harmonious arrangement of overlapping circles, at the centre of which white and pink Sakura (桜) come into bloom. The combination of the geometric precision of the “seven treasures” and the fleeting delicacy of the spring blossoms gives the cloth a timeless, premium presence. The deep violet ground makes the floral motifs appear almost like jewels on the fabric, creating an atmosphere of quiet elegance.
