Cityscape in dots – a tribute to Yokohama
This original tenugui comes from HAMAMONYO in Yokohama, a family business with over 75 years of experience in the artful production of traditional cotton scarves. The design is printed using the classic wet-printing technique (Yokohama Nassen) on chlorine-free bleached, specially developed cotton fabric. The scarf is pleasantly lightweight, soft, and versatile.
The image depicts landmarks of the port city of Yokohama, framed by circular dots: the famous Cosmo Clock 21 Ferris wheel, the cable car along the waterfront , the Yokohama Marine Tower , the Red Brick Warehouse , and other cityscapes. The circles act like small peepholes into urban life, set against a calm, deep blue background.
Ideal for fans of cityscapes, for anyone with a connection to Yokohama, or as a decorative accent with Japanese flair in your own home.
