Playful strawberry design for a good mood
This cheerful little towel is called Korokoro-ichigo , which means "Rolling Strawberries." The design features vibrant, red strawberry motifs, playfully scattered across a pure white background, sometimes as full fruits, sometimes as delicate outlines.
As part of our Wa-taoru series, this towel offers a functional advantage over the classic tenugui: The front, made of smoothly woven cotton, allows the vibrant fruit pattern to shine brilliantly, while the soft terry cloth back ensures excellent absorbency. This makes it the ideal, handy companion for your handbag, sports activities, or a quick freshening up.
The design comes from HAMAMONYO in Yokohama. Thanks to the traditional Yokohama wet printing technique, the colors are particularly long-lasting and the contours of the small strawberries remain razor-sharp, giving the towel a particularly high-quality look and feel.

Care and instructions
- Wash:Washable up to 40 °C.
- Recommendation:A laundry net is ideal! It prevents zippers or buttons on other garments from pulling threads out of the terry cloth side ("thread puller").
- Dry:Do not tumble dry. The heat could cause the two different layers of fabric to shrink unevenly, resulting in the cloth becoming misshapen. Simply pull it into shape and hang it up.
- Thread puller:Should a terry cloth loop come loose: Do not pull on it! Simply cut the protruding thread short with scissors. Since it is a woven loop, this will not create a hole.
- Softener:Use sparingly or not at all, as it reduces the absorbency of the terry cloth ("gliding effect" instead of drying).
